As there is no entrance exam, the first term of both the Initiation Course
and the Advanced Course is considered to be probationary. At the end of
this period the school and the student may decide on how their collaboration
is to proceed.
In order to be accepted for the Initiation Course, basic actor-training
and stage experience is necessary. The Advanced Course is only open to
students who either have successfully completed the Initiation Course
at LISPA, or have already completed another actor-training course and
come with a
strong background in physical theatre.Students with an interest in a one-term
Intensive Course have to prove the same background as any other applicant
for the Advanced Course.
A certificate of successful participation is given at the end of each
course; a certificate of completed studies at LISPA is awarded after two
years.
The year starts in November and ends in July. The studies cover 30 hours
a week for the Initiation Course and 35 hours for the Advanced Course, including
classtime,rehearsal and preparation.
The fees are payable at the beginning of each term and are not refundable.
The school is a recognized and approved training institute.
