About the Short Courses
In addition to the full time courses in Creating Theatre and Performance, LISPA offers workshops and short courses in the form of the Professional Development Program - a series of workshop modules for experienced performing artists with an interest in short-term training.
UPCOMING SHORT COURSES AT LISPA:
Foundation Course - From October 2010
The Foundation Course is a part-time course open to individuals interested in exploring the idea of the performer as a creator of her/his own work. One weekday evening or Saturday morning - eight-week modules. See here for details, dates and prices.
Professional Development Modules - from November 2010
Professional Development Modules are three weeks long, and give an insight into fundamental aspects of the pedagogical journey at LISPA. Each module forms a complete unit in itself, giving participants the possibility to choose one or more modules in a fashion best suited to their individual artistic interests. These intensive workshops are designed for performing artists who wish to deepen their experience as creators of original work outside the frame of a full-time program, and possible applicants for the full-time courses at LISPA who wish to know more about the training before applying to the school.
A complete prospectus for the Professional Development Program, as well as application and fees information, is available to download on our downloads page.
LISPA also offers bespoke workshops for university/study abroad groups, hosted in our own spaces at 3 Mills Studios. For more information about bespoke workshops, please contact the school directly via our Request Information form.
