for LISPA CERTIFICATE
ENTRY
REQUIREMENTS
LISPA offers a two year post-graduate level training program,
composed of the Initiation Course and the Advanced Course, and a one year Teacher Training Course.
Minimum age to apply (all courses): 21 years.Initiation
Course
The Initiation Course is open to students who already have
experience/training in the performing arts, whether as actors, performers or dancers,
and who wish to enhance their creative potential.
The Initiation Course is divided into 4 terms. Rather than auditoning, the first term is considered probationary,
at the end of which both the student and the school decide on how their collaboration will proceed. The studies of
the course cover 30 hours a week and include classtime, preparation and rehearsal.
Advanced
Course
The Advanced Course is only open to students who have completed the Initiation Course
at LISPA and have shown ability in dramatic creation. Continuation to the Advanced Course is
decided by the school at the end of the year.
Starting with the 2007-2008 Season, LISPA will NO LONGER be offering auditions for admission
directly onto the Advanced Course. The course is divided into 4 terms and the studies cover 35 hours a week including
classtime, preparation and rehearsal.
Teacher Training
Course
The Teacher Training Course is only open to students who have successfully completed both the Initiation Course
and the Advanced Course at LISPA, or can give proof of an obtained certificate/degree from a school with a similar
physical training. This course is relevant to those students who wish to gain a deeper insight into the teachings and
methods of the school. For further information on this course, please contact the school directly.

of Notification
All candidates will be notified
as to whether they have been accepted on the course within 4-6 weeks after LISPA has acknowledged receiving the application.

A certificate of successful
participation is given at the end of each course.
A certificate of completed studies at LISPA is awarded after
