3 STICKS (USA)

3 Sticks was founded in 2005 by LISPA students, and is now in its fourth year of producing original work in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.  LISPA graduates from 2004, 2005, and 2008 have collaborated with this company.

3 Sticks is remounting its former production of The Gypsy and the General for The Southern Theatre in January 2010.  Created by an ensemble of actors and dancers, the production was written by co-founder Katie Melby (LISPA '05) and music director Andrew Lynch.  This particular production will feature the talents of the original cast and some new faces.  Andrew Lynch, Katie Melby, and Tamara Ober return as the gypsy, the general, and the girl, with Andy Langenfeld (LISPA '08, previously seen in Borderlines) performing as the lieutenant and Ryan Underbakke (LISPA '08) as the doctor.
